Below are the instructions and all the resources for the in-class flip station rotation activity. There are four in-class flip workstations in total. Station 1 and 4 are for individual work and Stations 2,3 are for group work. For the contents of this presentation will you will put into groups randomly and will only do one of the two workstation (3-4). For your convenience these resources will be left here for you to come back to. Read the clipboards of each workstation and go through the activities.

Wordkstation 2 instructions

Watch the video for task gamification and fill in the survey

The best way to talk to you about gamification is though a game! Remember! This is a collaborative task so make sure you all work together. After you have quickly decided who will be the Timekeeper, the Screen-sharer and the Survey-user, the Screen-sharer shares their screen and puts the game into full screen (right bottom arrows). The Survey-user also opens the survey and when you get to the first and watch the video you could answer the survey question.

Task 3 Intstructions

Watch the video for task digital communities and then fill in padlet wall

The idea of digital learning communities is quite a challenging one. One of the main reasons I was forced to look into this area was the fact that no one platform could offer me an exact solution to use at my school. This presentation is just over ten minutes so after the video, I am asking you, teachers, to brainstorm together other platforms you use or could use for your school or teaching context.

Fill in the padlet wall regarding the task three flipped video

To add your answer press the pink button on the bottom right corner of the padlet wall or just double click in an empty space in the padlet wall. If you want to connect your answer with a specific question, right-click it and press “Connect to post” and chose which question you would like to connect with.

There is no one way of doing things. The aim of this padlet wall is to suggest tools we could use in place of my custom-built school solution!
