Email for counsellor fred.

Dear Counsellor,

I’m sending this email to respond to you, I’m looking forward to going this summer in camp and am sure it will be nice.

I think going to the mountain is better because it will be an adventure for all of us.

I agree to go in the afternoon to do swimming lessons because it will be very entertaining.

I suggest fruit and some water.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Aristidis Kakes.

An organisation that helps homeless

An organisation that helps homeless is “Red Cross” You can find it everywhere in the world so it can help everyone

They are doing:

      Access to education

provide children and young people  the skills to make reasonable  choices in life to build resilience and develop coping mechanisms.

          Building respect for the law

as part of their mission is to protect and assist the victims of war and violence , ICRC seeks to ensure respect for the rights.

Health

The ICRC ensures that people affected by conflicts can get basic health care that meets universally recognised standards.

Restoring family links

The ICRC’s restoring family links programme aims to locate people, exchange messages, reunite families and help the fate of missing persons.

these are the most important things “Red Cross” is doing.

Red Cross helps people by giving them what they need to survive and to be safe, it provides people with an option to donate blood for people who need it. We can all donate to save lives.

Coalition for the homeless

The new York-based Coalition for the Homeless is the longest-running national homeless organization. Their statistics are impressive. It has helped 1 million homeless New Yorkers get off the streets. It supports over 3,500 New Yorkers a day and serves between 800-1200 hot meals 365 a year to the homeless. There are programs to assist children affected by homelessness, too. There are summer camps and educational programs for homeless kids so they don’t fall behind their peers.

Films: At Home vs. Cinema

Watching a film at the cinema is surely nice but it cant be compared to watching it in your own home.

Firstly, at home, you are with your family and you can all enjoy a film together. Secondly, you don’t need a ticket and you can watch a film whenever you want. Thirdly you can sit on your couch and be relaxed.

However, the cinema has a big screen and has also had a great sound system. Also, the cinema is great for entertainment and it gives you chance to hang out with your friends.

In my opinion, watching a film with your family or friends at home is better than going to the cinema because you can see whatever you want whenever you want.

Breaking Ground

Breaking Ground is a nonprofit social services organization in New York city

whose goal is to create high quality permanent and transitional housing for the

homeless. Its philosophy holds that supportive housing costs substantially  less

than homeless shelters and much less time than jail cells or hospital rooms

and that people with psychiatric or other problems can better manage than once

they are permanently housed and provided with services.

Since its founding in 1990 by Rosanne Haggerty, the organization has created

more than 5000 units of housing for the homeless.

” This is about creating a small town rather than just a building” according to Haggerty

language

Every language characterizes each person. No  matter how much effort is made to have a world language in the future, it will be difficult and boring. I believe that every person should have his own language. This is the beauty of diversity. And if we want to communicate with each other, people should continue to do what they have always done to learn other languages and at the same time learn other cultures.

An organisation for homeless

There are a lot of organisations around the world, which help the homeless people. Some are famous, some others are not. But I think that the most known organisation is UNICEF.

UNICEF’s headquarters are in New York, but it’s mostly working in the poor African countries, such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbambwe and more. The goal of UNICEF is to help children stay alive in the world without poverty, slavery, disease and hunger. The organisation sends food, clear water and teams to help the children to be healthy.

UNICEF is the biggest organisation which helps the homeless. I think that as the years pass, we will see more and more teams like UNICEF being famous and helping whoever is in need.

MY FUTURE INVENTION

My future invention is medicine against covid. It’s called Sonic. It is available in Pharmacy and also in hospitals. You can get it if you are 12 years old and older. You can also find it online and order it from there, 5.78 million people have died during the pandemic.  That’s why we have to use medicine to protect ourselves. Until then stay safe and wear a mask !!

wall e

Wall e is an animated-fantasy movie. This movie is about the future of the earth. In a few years, people will leave the earth to the robots. Wall e will be the only robot that can do all the chores. It will be cleaning the robots from the rubbish that humans have left. The problem that the movie describes is about over pollution. The people use more things that want. This problem will harm the environment. Nowadays people can’t see that problem because will be here in a few years. That contributes to the earth destruction

My favourite teacher

My favorite teacher is Mrs. Kouloumarietou who teaches us computer science. She is my favorite teacher because we have fun and we learn more things about computers. The lesson is more interesting and It’s my favorite lesson, too. I don’t think teachers should be serious or funny. I think teachers should be a little bit of both because that way we will have an interesting lesson.

A requesting email

Hi Bessie,

how are you? I wanted to thank you for your offer. I’d love to go to the planetarium, so why not?

I would prefer to go at the weekend, because during the week I am too busy. Especially on Sunday, we can go whenever you can.

About the two shows, I would prefer the birth of the solar system, because I’m curious about how our solar system has been created. The space exploration is also a great one, but we can see that at the cinema.

We’ll be the 2 of us, because my sister has travelled to London.

Thanks again for your offer. See you tomorrow.

Kisses,

Teo
