Brown bear

Brown bear lives in Pindos and Rodopi, Greece. It is big, fat, it is 2 metres long and weighs 250 kilos. It eats fish, roots, grass, ants and honey. It has two babies every three years. Today there are two hundred brown bears in Europe (120 live in Greece). There are many dangers for brown bears: illegal hunting, environmental
problems, capturing. People mustn’t cut trees and hunt brown bears.
