”HALLOWEEN”

”Halloween” is celebrated the night of October 31st.

During that small kids dress up as something scary.

They visit their neighbours houses saying ” Trick or Treat” and collecting candies.

The most popular feature of Halloween is the ”Pumpkin Lantern” that looks skary or funny.

The Custom of the pumpkin has its roots in an old Irish myth of Jack o Lantern.

Jack was naughty and stingy and he invited the Devil to have a drink with him but Jack

didnt want to pay his drinks so he made the Devil changeto a coin but Jack instead of

paying the drinks he put the coin in his pocket.

What is this book about?
this book is about a boy that wanted duck feet but his mom said no, then he wanted horns but he wouldn’t get on the school bus so he wanted a spout but his mom didn’t want water in the house, so he said that he will get a long long tail but he was afraid that he will get tied in a tree so he said that he will get a long long nose but he was afraid that his dad will make him clean the car, the house, and the windows. He thinks about it and wishes to be all the things but he was afraid that the police will put him in a zoo house and so he thinks and he says that he wants to be his self again.

My Favourite part
my favourite part is when it said” I wish that I had duck feet. And I can tell u why. You can splash around in duck feet. You don’t have to keep them dry.”

Halloween 🎃

Halloween is celebrated on the night of the 31st of October, when young children are dressed as something scary. They visit homes collecting lots of streets as a trick or treat. All the people like to decorate there homes with pumpkins and carve them with scary faces and put candles inside

HALLOWEEN

Ireland with celtic history is pretty much the birthplace of Halloween. In modern Ireland and Scotland the Halloween traditions are still going strong. Halloween games and bonfires are part of the celebration there, but the most interesting tradition might be the barmbrack bread. This pastry is baked with hidden items inside, like rings and coins. According to the items you find in your slice of barmbrack it will tell you your future holds. That’s how Ireland and Scotland celebrate Halloween.

WHAT IS HALLOWEEN 🎃

Halloween is the dat of dead people! People have created a day when dead people’s spirits and all the creepy creatures “celebrate”. It sounds weird and it is !

WHEN AND IN WHICH COUNTRIES DO PEOPLE CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN 👹🌍

The day which we celebrate Halloween is the 31st of October
People from a lot of countries celebrate but not as many in Europe and it is so sad because Halloween is a very nice celebration

WHAT DO WE DO IN HALLOWEEN👻 🍬

In Halloween kids dress up like something scary (ghost,zombies,vampires etc.) and the night of Halloween they go out knock on peoples doors and ask ” trick or treat” if the owner of the house answers “treat” he should give some treats to the kids but if you doesn’t answer….. a prank is waiting for him
Mums or dads decorate the house, the garden and they cut a pumpkin with a shape of an angry/scary face, that tradition is named Jack O’Lantern.

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween is celebrated on the night of October 31st, when young children are dressed as something “scary” and visit homes collecting lots of sweets, as a “Trick or Treat”. Trick or Treat is a traditional Halloween custom for children and adults. In the evening, children go from house to house, asking “Trick or Treat”. If the host says Treat, he gives the children sweets, if he says Trick , you must do a Trick to scare him.The symbol of the celebration is the pumpkin which is cut so that it takes a human form while inside the pumpkin is a lighted candle. The pumpkin is connected to a story about cunning Jack.

Halloween is celebrated on 31 st october every year.In many coyntries.Celebrations of halloween are Trick or Treat,costumes parties the making of jack lanters,lighting bonfires,apple bobbing and.Many halloween traditions have been influenced by ancient celtic harvest festivals.I love this celebration.I like the costumes of f.b.i. with maske and doing pranks with my friends. kostas karaklas.
